Any scientist supporting our activities may join the Network - there are no costs involved. Other people not involved in partnership work, but interested in TSN, also belong. Partnerships are formed with primary/secondary teachers that also offer the opportunity to work alongside pupils in the classroom.
All members receive TSN’s twice yearly newsletter, and an invitation to the Annual Meeting, together with occasional emails alerting them to significant date announcements or opportunities. TSN does not disclose members contact details to any other organisation or third party.
Further details about school membership (inc. personal membership of the Network) and access to the Kit Club, which requires a signature from the head teacher and the payment of an annual fee, can be found here.
Teachers should be aware that while every effort is made to find a scientist partner, demand always outstrips supply, and in our efforts to make partnerships as logistically easy as possible there is no way of knowing when, if ever, you will be partnered. Partnerships are offered to any teacher member.
