National Kit Club Project

In 2005, TSN extended its best practice in establishing and running ‘bottom-up’ Kit Clubs with funding from DfES. In an open and competitive tender process, TSN invited the directors of the regional Science Learning Centres to bid for the chance to host and run their own Kit Clubs … TSN provided 20 of its most popular kits, and a cpd session linked to the local Kit Club launch

The outcome of this process was Kit Clubs run locally, sereving new communities, linked to the Science Learning Centre located in Bayfordbury (East of England), Durham (North-East) and Keele (W.Midlands).

Unfortunately, these centres closed less than 10 years later.
