Meet our volunteers ...

TSN is going through a period of transition. Our long-time volunteer Pauline died suddenly in Summer 2011 and our Resources Officer, Carol retired and moved to Somerset in December 2011. Since then we are grateful to a number of volunteers who have helped keep the TSN Kit Club alive and well.

Linden Parker - Feb, 2013

Linden joined us in February 2013. He is a graduate from Aberystwyth University who lives in South Norfolk. We are delighted to have him on-board ..

Gerty Ward - Oct. 2011

In October 2011, Gerty Ward joined TSN as a volunteer during a sabbatical year in Norwich.

Gerty has taught for 10 years in the USA. She is a teacher at Durham Academy, North Carolina where she has responsibility for teaching to science and maths to 11 - 14 year old pupils. Gerty returned to the US in May 2012.

Pauline Burton (RIP) - 2003 to 2011

For many years our only volunteer was 'Auntie Pauline.' Knowledgeable, enthusiastic and dedicated Pauline was a real asset to the TSN, particularly in her support of the Kit Club. Pauline began volunteering shortly after moving to the area from Lincolnshire, were she had taught science in secondary schools for many years. Full of ideas and stories, there was never a dull moment when Pauline was around.
