Molecular Biology (2 kits available)

Both kits contain all the hardware required for preparing and running agarose gels. For further details refer to the kit contents list links below. The gels may then be used in gel electrophoresis to visualise the products of DNA restriction digestion or the polymerase chain reaction. Please note that TSN do not provide the 'consumables' for these investigations and schools should ensure that they order these in advance of borrowing a kit.

A PCR machine may also be borrowed to demonstrate the polymerase chain reaction.
