Funded by CUE East's Enhancement Fund "Norfolk's Secret Seaside" project sees TSN working with Norfolk Wildlife Trust (NWT) for the first time. Using some stunning images and videos of life below the surface of the sea as stimulus material, teachers and pupils from 4 Norfolk schools are collecting data, making observations and gaining a sense of pride and wonder for their beach.
The observation period is from Autumn 2011 until Summer 2012. Pictures, stories and data from this project will appear as the project develops.
Schools involved:
Redgate Junior School
Erpingham Primary School
Langham Village School
Happisburgh Primary School
Would you think this grey and cold mass of water was home to a diverse and colourful world ...
An example of some of the images, and the diversity of wildlife under our sea, can be seen in the images featuring on the BBC news website
